Terms, conditions, and policies

By working with us, you agree that:
  • While we assist and support the Client in taking action, the Client reaches their own conclusions, decides their own paths, and achieves their own personal goals.
  • The Client is fully responsible for their choices, actions, inaction, and direction.
  • Brass Flowers, Inc. and Ptype SRL (using the trade name “Italian Inpat”) are not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by us.
  • We make no guarantees, representations or warranties of any kind or nature, express or implied, with respect to the services negotiated, agreed upon and rendered. In no event shall the Coach be liable to the Client for any indirect, consequential or special damages. Notwithstanding any damages that the Client may incur, Italian Inpat’s entire liability under this Agreement, and the Client’s exclusive remedy, shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the Client to Italian Inpat under this Agreement for all services rendered through and including the termination date.
  • Italian Inpat are not lawyers, accountants, medical professionals, or government officials. We are not tour operators, travel agencies, or any type of travel vendor. We are consultants, advisors, and coaches. We can help you fill out forms, but we cannot procure or guarantee a visa, citizenship, residence permit, national healthcare, or anything issued or controlled by any level of government. 
  • If services are rendered in person, the Client is wholly responsible for the Client’s health, decisions, and choices. Please do not undertake any activites for which you do not have the health, strength, or balance.
  • Either party may terminate this agreement at any time in writing, such as via email.
Do I get a recording, transcript, or notes after a session?

That’s up to you. If you consent to a recording, it will be recorded and provided to you. Please note that recordings may be permanently deleted after 90 days. Please download yours if you would like a copy.

Tools used:

  • Business/Workspace version of Google Meet, and have opted into their HIPAA compliance.
  • A Monday.com Pro account, where we store general client information and call notes.
  • Fireflies.ai for recordings and transcripts.
  • Claude.ai for AI summarized notes.
  • Neither Fireflies, Anthropic (Claude), nor any of its AI sub-processors train AI models on customer data, including meeting recordings and transcripts. They are SOC2 compliant and adhere to GDPR laws.

After our session, I will review the AI notes, manually edit and improve them, and share the final notes with you in our “portal.”

Where's the portal? Is it secure?

I use a paid Google Workspace account to store documents, call notes, and other artifacts in a secure space that’s only available to you, us, and anybody you authorize.

If you would like some or all of your data deleted, please contact us and we’re happy to do that.

What if I need to talk about really private things?

We know that it’s an ugly world out there, and it’s hard to know which services we can trust when it comes to online communication. Increasingly, governments and companies in various countries seem to want to track everything we talk about and do.

With these concerns in mind, we offer the following options:

  • You can decline to have our calls recorded.
  • You can decline to have AI summarize the calls.
  • We can take very minimal notes.
  • We recommend that, rather than contacting us via WhatsApp or Telegram, use Threema. The app is a one-time fee. It’s completely anonymous, and doesn’t require an email, phone number, or any identifying information to create an account. Our Threema ID is available upon request.

Can you coach me if I'm not moving to Italy, or I haven't decided where I'm moving?

Yes! Debbie has the ACC accreditation from the ICF (International Coaching Federation). She is a life and personal development coach, and can facilitate you finding more clarity around decisions, possibilities, and reaching your goals. Focusing on values and priorities. All non-mental health topics are welcome, from adjusting to a new home to planning the move to finding balance and keeping your batteries charged.

The first call is free, and you are not pushed into packages. It can be pay-as-you-go.

How do I pay?

Our online booking calendar will charge your credit or debit card when you book time with us.

For tours, on-site support, and concierge services, we will provide a quote, which will include payment terms. We accept credit and debit cards as well as bank transfers. Some of our vendors are paid directly, such as our travel agency.

We currently charge in euros for currency stability.

Do I have to buy a package, program, or other stuff?
We offer discounted prepaid packages, but those are optional. You can pay as you go.

Many coaches try to lock you into a multi-month program or a package. We believe that you will continue with us because we’re awesome and you’re thrilled with our coaching and services. We believe that people prefer flexibility. You decide how many sessions you need or want.

We have some items for sale, such as books about career change and improving how you do your work. These are optional, and you are not required to buy anything from us.

Can I reschedule or cancel? Can I get a refund?

Reschedule any time for any reason. My calendar’s confirmation email and the calendar event will have links for rescheduling and canceling. Please use those!

If you are working off a package, the time is not deducted until it’s used. You lose nothing when you reschedule or cancel.

If you paid for that time, you won’t be charged when you reschedule.

Note: If your appointment requires travel, and you change the date or time once we are already traveling, you have the right to bill for additional travel costs incurred due to your change.

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for services rendered.

If you have prepaid for coaching or other time, and choose to cancel the relationship, we will refund your unused portion minus a €100 euro cancellation fee.

Is my information confidential?

Everything you say and experience during our sessions, actions, and homework is confidential. By having at least one coaching session with us, you are agreeing to the following confidentiality and non-disclosure terms:

  1. The term “Confidential Information” includes, without limitation, personal information, trade secrets, copyrights, specifications, design plans, drawings, software, documentation, data, ideas, inventions, financial information, colleagues, partners, financiers, and any other personal or business information that one party (“Disclosing Party”) discloses to the other (“Receiving Party”).
  2. The Receiving Party shall (i) hold all Confidential Information in confidence and use it only for the Permitted Purpose; (ii) reproduce Confidential Information only as reasonably required in furtherance of the Permitted Purpose; (iii) restrict disclosure of Confidential Information; and (iv) only disclose Confidential Information in whole or part as may be required by law, law enforcement, regulatory, or medical or counseling professionals. The Receiving Party shall not disclose Confidential Information to third parties without the Disclosing Party’s prior written consent.
  3. The above restrictions on the use or disclosure of Confidential Information shall not apply to any Confidential Information (i) after it has become generally available to the public without breach of this Agreement; (ii) which at the time of disclosure to the Receiving Party was known to such party free of restriction and evidenced by written documentation in such party’s possession; (iii) which the Disclosing Party agrees in writing is free of such restrictions.
  4. The Receiving Party’s obligations with respect to the Confidential Information do not expire unless the information becomes public or known without breach of this agreement.
  5. The Disclosing Party shall have the right to obtain injunctive relief upon the Receiving Party’s breach. This remedy is in addition to any other remedies available at law or equity. Any injunction or damage claim sought will be under Arizona law if working with our American corporation, or under the laws of Sassari Prefecture, Sardinia, Italy if working with our Italian entity, regardless of conflicts of law, forum, and venue.
  6. Information provided by the Client is not confidential under the following circumstances:
    • A subpoena or valid court order requires the disclosure of our knowledge or documents.
    • An agreement or contract allows or requires the sharing of updates, summaries, or other information, such as with a sponsor or employer.
    • The Client indicates that they are thinking of or planning to harm themselves or others.
    • The Client indicates that they are planning to commit an illegal act.
Can I write this service off on my taxes?
Check with your accountant! We are a professional service operating with both an American C corporation and an Italian SRL. We can provide invoices upon request.
