About Us

Hi! I’m Debbie.

After months of planning, I moved to Italy in January 2018. I’m not an American expat. I’m an Italian inpat. Italy is my permanent home, and I’m proud and honored to live here.

I came here on a self-employment visa. I hired fancy, expensive “we have offices in London” immigration lawyers to help me with that, and had to fire them when I learned that they didn’t do all of the right paperwork once I was living here. I found an accountant to clean up the mess.

I’m someone who made this leap, made mistakes, figured things out, and built a new life in a small Sardinian village outside of Olbia. I married my Sardinian husband, Piermario, in 2023. We live on the land he grew up on. Everybody in the village is a relative, or so it seems. We have four wacky dogs: a mom and three of her pups.

I work from home. I’m a tech and corporate consultant, Researcher, Designer, and problem finder and solver. I’m also an author, speaker, and trainer. I hold an ICF ACC coaching credential and offer life, personal development, and entrepreneurial coaching. My other websites are DeltaCX.com and DeltaCX.Coach.

We’re a team

Most of what you might need or want can be done personally by Debbie. Where Debbie isn’t available or we know someone better for your task, we’ll bring in our trusted partners who are fluent in English. They include Debbie’s husband, a local fully-qualified tour guide, and an American-Italian dual citizen who is our neighbor and the mother of Piermario’s childhood friend.
